Privacy Policy

Information we collect

Treatment Association collects limited information to operate our directory and improve our services. When you visit our website, we collect standard analytics data through Google Analytics (GA4), including pages viewed, time on site, approximate geographic location (city level), device type, and referral source. We do not collect personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it (such as through a contact form or email).

How we use information

Analytics data is used to understand which pages and resources are most helpful, improve our directory and content, generate anonymized, aggregate reports on directory usage for member facilities (such as total page views and click counts — never individual user data), and monitor site performance.

What we do NOT do

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties. We do not collect or store patient health information (PHI). We do not track individual users across sessions for advertising purposes. We do not use cookies for ad targeting. We do not share individual-level data with treatment facilities. When we report metrics to member facilities, data is always anonymized and aggregated (for example: "Your listing received 45 page views and 12 call-button clicks this month").

Third-party services

We use Google Analytics (GA4) for website analytics. Google's privacy policy applies to data collected through their service. We use Netlify for website hosting. Netlify's privacy policy applies to server logs and CDN data. We do not use third-party advertising platforms.

Data from treatment facilities

Treatment facility data displayed in our directory is sourced from SAMHSA's public National Directory, which is government data available under the Open Database License. Facility information displayed includes only publicly available data: facility name, address, phone number, and services offered.
