What Al-Anon is

A free mutual support program for families and friends of people with alcohol problems. Based on the 12 steps adapted for families. Available in every major city and online.

How it helps

Teaches you that you did not cause it, you cannot control it, and you cannot cure it. Provides community with people who understand your experience. Teaches healthy boundaries. Reduces isolation and shame.

What meetings are like

Similar to AA: speaker meetings, discussion meetings, step study. No one is required to speak. Cross-talk is discouraged. Anonymity is maintained. Meetings are free.
